You’re not alone.
Let’s explore your path to wellness together.
Hi, I’m Chelsea. I’m passionate about helping big-hearted people reconnect with themselves and give back to their own well-being through therapy.
Who I work with
Caregivers
I work with caregivers and helpers who spend so much time caring for others that their own needs often end up last. In therapy, we focus on reclaiming time and energy for yourself, setting boundaries, and tending to your emotional well-being. This is a space where you can be honest about how heavy it can feel to carry so much, without judgment.
Children & Teens
I support children and teens who are navigating big feelings, anxiety, school or social stress, family changes, or questions about who they are. In our work together, I use a warm, relational approach that helps young people feel seen, heard, and respected. Therapy gives them a consistent space to express themselves, build coping skills, and feel less alone with what they’re going through.
New Parents
I support new parents who are feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or unsure of themselves in this new season of life. Together, we make space for your changing identity, shifting relationships, and the mix of emotions that can come with welcoming a child. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, supported, and confident as you navigate early parenthood.
Services
Individual Therapy
I offer individual therapy as a supportive, confidential space for you to explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns that may be causing distress or leaving you feeling stuck. In our work together, we’ll collaborate to clarify your goals, build practical coping skills, and make sense of your experiences in the context of your relationships, identity, and environment. I commonly support clients navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, grief, life transitions, and relationship challenges, and I tailor each session to your unique needs and strengths. Drawing on evidence-based approaches and a warm, person-centered style, I aim to help you move toward greater balance, resilience, and self-compassion.

I’m also experienced in Restorative Justice Facilitation, if you are looking to facilitate a process or bring a training to your company, school, or organization let’s connect and see how I can support you.
Chelsea Smith, LCSW
Hi, I’m Chelsea, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in the Roaring Fork Valley. I first fell in love with social work while working in Denver Public Schools, where I quickly realized the school social worker had the best job: getting to truly talk with and support kids. I began my career as both a yoga instructor and social worker in public schools across Colorado, and I loved getting to know my clients on a deeper, more holistic level. While I’m experienced in assessing and supporting people with anxiety, depression, trauma, and neurodivergence (including ADHD and Autism), I tend to see these diagnoses as signposts that highlight certain patterns or challenges, not as definitions of who you are.
Most recently, I worked as a clinical supervisor at a non-profit, where I discovered that supporting adults is just as rich, meaningful, and dynamic as working with teens and kids. Through that role, I found a particular passion for working with helpers and those in caregiving roles, people who show up so fully for others that they sometimes forget about themselves. As both a social worker and a new mom, I feel especially drawn to supporting big-hearted people who need some extra care, space, and understanding right now. I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your path to healing and wellness.
